David Torres Vázquez was born in Jerez, Spain. The Francisco Elías film course at the University of Huelva spurred a passion for film that has continued to develop since. Once in Madrid he completed Metrópolis C.E.'s Comprehensive Training for Film and Television Directors (2012-2014), specializing in Direction and Production. He is a producer of The Price of Progress (2019) and 5 Inches (2018).
