Biography

Angela Petrella is an animation writer/producer & director with over ten years of industry experience at some of the most prestigious animation companies in the world. She began her career at Pixar Animation Studios in the Story and Editorial department on The Good Dinosaur. She then relocated to Los Angeles to produce and write on several animated comedy series for Fox, including Neo Yokio, Lucas Brothers Moving Co., Axe Cop, Major Lazer, and Stone Quackers. Her work continued with Oculus Story Studio recruiting her to oversee all internal development, and her virtual film, Dear Angelica, won a Peabody Award and was nominated for an Emmy.

In addition, Angela has written and consulted on several interactive narrative projects, including the Emmy award-winning short, Wolves in the Walls. She is writing an upcoming AAA video game for Sony/Probably Monsters Games. Concurrently, she produced Batman: The Audio Adventures through DC and Warner Brothers. Along the way, in many different capacities, she's directed, written, and produced for Disney Features, Cartoon Network, Big Beach Films, and McSweeney's.
