Deniz Cengiz was born in Istanbul. She is a Turkish actress, writer and director. She studied acting at Istanbul Kültür University. She worked as a comedy writer for content websites and TV talk shows. She is known for Jet Sosyete (2018) and Kusursuz Kiraci (2022). Kaçanlar (2023), is the first short film she wrote and directed.
