Ernesto Kullock

Ernesto Kullock was born in Buenos Aires on January 28, 1970. His grandfather, Román Viñoly Barreto, had already filmed more than twenty motion pictures by then, and he instilled in his grandson the love for film. Ernesto studied communications, music and writing, but it wasn't until he filmed documentaries on boxers and circus performers that he was able to appreciate the importance of transmitting values and culture from generation to generation. He worked as an editor with some of the most famous commercial directors in Argentina, giving him the opportunity of seeing through the eyes of a lot of talented people. He has now been directing for more then fifteen years, writing scripts, short stories and novels in parallel. His recent work includes Copetin, a short film created in collaboration with Berklee College of Music, world premiered on the 21th Annual Palm Springs International ShortFest. His first novel, Ant Poison, was published in 2013.
