- Philippe Meyrer was born in Luxembourg City. In 2009, he moved to Marseilles, France to enter an acting school (Actor's Sud) where he studied theater drama and film acting for 2 years. He went back to Luxembourg where he started as an actor in a couple of student films. His first role in a professional production was in Disappeared in Winter (2014) and shortly after Baby(a)lone (2015), a Luxembourgish production. After that, he played in several major co-productions: Les survivants (2016) The Restless (2021) La guerre des Lulus (2022) and in 2023 the Luxembourgish western feature The Last Ashes (2023). The latest project, a leading part in the short film 'Crackle' coming out on March 4th at the Luxembourg-City Film Festival 2024.
