Biography

Philippe Meyrer was born in Luxembourg City. In 2009, he moved to Marseilles, France to enter an acting school (Actor's Sud) where he studied theater drama and film acting for 2 years. He went back to Luxembourg where he started as an actor in a couple of student films. His first role in a professional production was in Disappeared in Winter (2014) and shortly after Baby(a)lone (2015), a Luxembourgish production. After that, he played in several major co-productions: Les survivants (2016) The Restless (2021) La guerre des Lulus (2022) and in 2023 the Luxembourgish western feature The Last Ashes (2023). The latest project, a leading part in the short film 'Crackle' coming out on March 4th at the Luxembourg-City Film Festival 2024.
