Kim Brown was born on June 2, 1945 in Birmingham, England, UK. He died on October 11, 2011 in Helsinki, Finland.

A British-born singer and musician, best known for his band The Renegades. Brown was one of the prominent figures of bringing rock music to Finland in the 1960s and eventually moved there permanently. The Renegades recorded four albums in Finland and did approximately 500 concerts throughout the country in only a few years. Brown also lived in Italy in the midst of the 1970s and 1980s where his band "Kim & the Cadillacs" found some success.
