Biography

Khalid Nizami was born in 1947 in Mussoorie. He was an actor, known for Haqeeqat (1974), Pyar Ka Mausam (1975) and Pehchan (1975). He died on July 29, 2026 in Karachi, Pakistan.

Received his early education at Karachi Grammar School before earning a bachelor's degree from Islamia College Karachi.

In 1973, he composed a song "Tum Sung Nainan Laagay" which was sung by Rubina Badar and became a classic hit.

Khalid Nizami was a Pakistani comedian actor and music composer. He is primarily known for playing a comedy role in Haseena Moin's play "Ankahi". He played several comedy characters in PTV dramas beginning in 1970.

Khalid Nizami was widely regarded as one of the most celebrated actors and comedians, who was known for his versatility and natural comic timing.

He also composed some songs for the singer A. Nayyar.
