She also composed the soundtrack for Rubika Shah's BIFA-nominated, Berlinale & Grierson Award-winning anti-fascist punk hit, White Riot.

Recent credits include true crime thriller, 'Child In A Box', Amazon Original 'Lioness', Sky Original 'Super Greed', and the multi-award-winning 'Savage Waters' narrated by Charles Dance. Her projects have screened at film festivals around the world including Sundance, Tribeca, Cannes, Berlinale, and Venice, and major broadcasters such as BBC, Apple, Amazon and Discovery Channel.

As a performer she has played live both with her own band and others, including Jasdeep Singh Degun (Real World Records) and Nitin Sawhney CBE (Sony Masterworks), at venues including Union Chapel, Southbank Centre and the Royal Albert Hall.

AVAWAVES is signed to One Little Independent Records (home to Björk, Ásgeir, Poppy Ackroyd). Their two studio albums - Waves (2019) and Chrysalis (2021) - received widespread support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 3, and Scala Radio.

Aisling grew up in The Netherlands where she started composing at a young age before moving to the UK to study Music & Film Studies at the University of Sussex. She received a scholarship to study composition with a focus on film scoring in Los Angeles, before pursuing an MA in Composition for Film & TV.

Aisling is based in London and Berlin. She is represented by Manners McDade.
