Biography

Yvonne Miranda is an actress and former broadcast journalist who spent years as a news anchor and reporter. She trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, and earned her BA in Broadcast News & Theatre Arts from Pepperdine University. Born into a family with Trinidadian, Persian, Latino, and European heritage, Yvonne grew up in North Carolina, where her family has deep roots in the textile industry. After college, she moved to São Paulo, Brazil, taught English, and became fluent in Portuguese. She later returned to the U.S. and transitioned into acting full-time. Today, she balances her career with family life as a wife and mother of four.
