Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. His parents are Richard Wilkes and Debbie Mackewn. Has an older sister named Barb Antler. At the age of 12 he had his name changed from Brian John Antler to Brian John Wilkes. He made his first acting debut at the age of 30 in a film called Holy Hell.
Brian John Wilkes actually played 3 different parts in the movie Holy Hell - a security guard at hospital, a mugger who turns over gun and runs away, and a guy who asks priest "hey dude, you want to fuck my wife".
