Biography

Roberto Williams is a film and theatre actor based in Los Angeles. As a student of Emerson College's BFA Theatre program, he participated in several short and student films in the Boston area. On the night after his graduation, he attended auditions for Hamlet, and a week later for Macbeth, landing roles in both that he carried simultaneously for what would be the start of his professional career.

Moving out west a few months later, he has since participated in several plays throughout LA, with a keen and passionate focus on Shakespeare; as well as some short films. In 2019, his stage career gained momentum when he was cast in 7 shows and 2 radio plays back-to-back with companies ranging from Long Beach to Woodland Hills, including a performance at A Noise Within Theatre. During this year, he also attended several classes, workshops, and seminars to further his education and grow in his craft.

In 2020, despite the Coronavirus shutting theatres down, he would continue to find work, or make it himself via short films, Zoom plays, virtual readings, monologue competitions, and even a few one-man Abbott & Costello skits to stay sharp. He continues to attend online workshops, and while his love for Shakespeare remains strong, his focus is turned back on film/television.
