Adel Shirazy is an Iranian scientist, author, martial artist, and media personality known for his multidisciplinary career spanning science, sports, and visual media. Shirazy first gained public attention in 2006 through a martial arts television program produced for the Iranian presidency, where he appeared in four episodes demonstrating self-defense techniques. His recognition grew after winning a bronze medal at the 2008 International Martial Arts Festival and through widely viewed self-defense training videos on YouTube. In 2014, he created and developed the television series *Street Self Defense Training (SSDT)*, further establishing his presence in educational media.
