Biography

Will Linn, Ph.D. is a mythologist, producer and founder of Mythouse.org -- an online community for myth, story and personal narratives.

Across three seasons and thirty episodes, Will appeared as a recurring "Meta-Expert" on Myths: The Greatest Mysteries of Humanity, which first aired on Germany's ZDF before its international distribution on Sky, Channel 5, History, Roku and networks across Europe, Australia and the Americas. His work with Story House and ZDF continues with Lost Treasures (2027).

Will has appeared in Alexandre O. Philippe’s documentaries, Memory: The Origins of Alien and The Taking. He is Head Mythologist and Narrative Producer for Fascinated by Everything, whose Psychedelic Mixtape: The Visionary Experience premiered at Cosm and plays in planetariums.

For eight years he served as founding chair of general education at Relativity School, a film and performing arts college founded by Relativity Media on the campus of Los Angeles Center Studios, where he founded the Joseph Campbell Writers' Room and taught myth, story, philosophy, writing and anthropology.

From 2011 to 2021, he served in senior roles for the Joseph Campbell Foundation. Will co-created the Myth Salon with Dana White, The Climate Bootcamp with the Harvard Alumni Association and Sermons of the Earth with Adrian Grenier at Kintsugi Ranch -- a nine-part series on the mythopoesis of nature.

His ongoing work explores meta-narratives of transformation, nature, technology and the archetypal dimensions of meteor steel. He holds a Ph.D. in World Mythology and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and a B.A. in philosophy from Sewanee: The University of the South.
