Biography

James Zsigmond trained in cinematography under the tutelage of legendary cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond(A.S.C/H.S.C). He was Educated in Directing and Philosophy at NYU/Tisch School of the Arts and at the Sarajevo Film factory, an MFA program founded by prolific auteur director Bela Tarr. James has been director of photography on numerous feature films, commercials, and shorts ranging in budgets up to $3.5M(USD). He is a member of IATSE Local 600.
