Jaymes Bullet

Known for her darkly sultry, cinematic sound, songwriter/composer/vocalist/musician and producer Jaymes Bullet's music has played a compelling part in both TV series (The L Word (2004)) and feature film (Vampire Academy (2014)) . Among her influences Billie Holiday, David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock, 4AD and classic Film Noir. While living and recording in New Orleans, Jaymes' 2014 track "In Your Grave" caught the ear of director Mark Waters and was widely used in the film Vampire Academy. Bullet's writing/recording career began in mid 1990's NYC where she worked and collaborated with a wide range of musical talents including Grammy award winning re-mixer/writer/producer Eric Kupper. The two penned the notable track "Measure Up" for the Winter Chill series from UK label Hed Kandi. A passionate film fan, Jaymes Bullet resides in New Orleans where she writes and records for her Bayou Noir Records label.
