Biography

Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter was born on February 21, 1961 in Siegsdorf, Germany.

Used many aliases during his life, including Clark Rockefeller, Chris C. Crowe, Chris Chichester, Charles Smith and Christopher Chichester.

Was convicted in 2013 for the murder of John Sohus. He disappeared along with his wife, Linda, in 1985. Gerhartsreiter, who was going by the last name Chichester at the time, was renting a guest house on the Sohus' property. John's remains were found in 1994, but weren't identified until 2011. Gerthartsreiter was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 27 years in prison. Linda has not been found, but is believed to be deceased.
