Jeffrey Morris is the writer, director, and production designer for the forthcoming live-action films Persephone and Oceanus and the animated series Parallel Man.

A lifelong science and science-fiction enthusiast, Jeffrey has built a career that unifies his interests in futurism, art, education, and entrepreneurship.

Jeffrey's production company, FutureDude Entertainment, is an independent film organization focused on an approach rooted in intelligent action and adventure stories-each with a sensibility and influences based on the golden age of science-fiction cinema in the 1960's and 70's.

Jeffrey's projects feature a positive, futuristic spin. Over the past 25 years, he has directed short films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries. Additionally, he has published graphic novels and award-winning science curricula. He brought Hollywood-style storytelling to education and public outreach initiatives for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the International Space University.

Jeffrey Morris is the writer, director, and production designer for the forthcoming films Persephone and Oceanus. He is serves in the same capacities for the animated film Parallel Man. Since childhood, Morris has been a devoted science aficionado-focusing on space travel, oceanography, and meteorology. As a lifelong science-fiction enthusiast, Morris has built a career that unifies his interests in futurism, art, education, and entrepreneurship.

His role models include explorer Jacques Cousteau, scientist Carl Sagan, TV pioneer Gene Roddenberry, and designer Syd Mead. Early in his career, Morris worked with the late musician Prince as a dancer/choreographer and eventually moved on to directing and producing videos for Paisley Park Studios.

He has directed short films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries. Additionally, he has published graphic novels and award-winning science curricula. For nearly a decade, he brought Hollywood-style storytelling to educational initiatives for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the International Space University. Recently, Jeffrey co-wrote a novelization of Persephone with New York Times-Bestselling author Kevin J. Anderson (Dune, The X-Files)

Jeffrey established the 'FutureDude' moniker in 2012. It began as the name of his highly-successful science blog which morphed into the dba for his company, Morris FutureWorks. Whether consulting for international clientele or developing his own content, the vast majority of Jeffrey's projects feature a positive, futuristic spin.
