Indianna Bell

Indianna Bell is an Australian writer and director. In 2019, she produced and co-directed the Tropfest finalist Safe Space, which received directing and emerging filmmaker awards at the South Australian Screen Awards. She also wrote and co-directed Call Connect, which received the Jury Prize for Best Narrative Short at the Austin Film Festival and screened internationally. In 2020, Bell was named one of Austin Film Festival’s Top 25 Screenwriters to Watch. She also wrote and co-directed the short thriller The Recordist, which premiered at the Adelaide Film Festival and screened internationally, receiving awards including the Jury Prize for Best Narrative Short at Austin. Her feature debut, You’ll Never Find Me, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was later awarded Best Feature at SXSW Sydney, receiving a five-star review from The Guardian.
