Dave Robertson(X)

Dave Robertson is an award winning music editor, mix engineer, sound designer and composer. His talent and expertise gathered over fourteen years working with film, television and TV commercials has given him the experience to work at the very highest levels of audio post production, and has helped garner his reputation as one of the industry's best.

Dave returned to Australia recently after an eleven year stint in New York, during which time he had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects such as Baz Lurhmann's Netflix series The Get Down, for which Dave received an MPSE Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing/Episodic Long Form Music/Musical, and also a nomination in the same category. Over that time he also worked with some incredible artists such as Billy Bass from Parliament Funkadelic, Nas and Grandmaster Flash and Switch.

Since returning to Australia, Dave has worked as a music editor on Disney's TV series Reef Break, Mr Inbetween, and Playing For Keeps.

Dave has won several industry awards for his work, including the aforementioned MPSE Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing/Episodic Long Form Music/Musical, and also in TV advertising - most notably Cannes Prix Gold Lions for both Snickers and Puma, and over his career has worked with many top brands such as Google, Viceland, Amazon and many more.

Dave combines his education in music, recording arts and physics from university with a lifelong study of musical instruments and music theory to bring a unique and insightful set of skills to the table.

When Dave isn't 'turning it up to 11', he enjoys listening to records and climbing mountains for astrophotography.
