Matheus Bastos is a Brazilian-Portuguese cinematographer with roots in independent narrative filmmaking. A former drummer, he brings a rhythmic and intuitive approach to visual storytelling. His work has screened at top festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival, Directors' Fortnight, SXSW, Tribeca, Fantastic Fest, Deauville, and the Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara. His short-form work has also been featured in Rolling Stone, Billboard, VEVO, and has been nominated for MTV VMA Awards.
