Shashank Sharma grew up in Dubai. He studied Film at Lancaster University and was part of Ruchika Theatre groups repertory for 4 years, touring plays nationally in India.
During the pandemic he worked with directors Rishi Mehta and Danny Woodburn on several short films and TV specials to advocate for greater representation of disabled artists.
After the pandemic Shashank returned to England to train on the MA Acting International program at East 15 Acting School, graduating with a distinction in 2025.
Recent credits include a commercial for RNIB, 'Life On Pause', and photo shoot for Scope Charity, by photographer Eliska Sky.
Shashank will be taking his self penned noir thriller, The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of, based on Dashiell Hammett's 1930 novel The Maltese Falcon, to this years Edinburgh Fringe.
