Berthe Tanwo Njole is a Belgian actress of Cameroonian origin, born in Yaoundé and based in Brussels, Belgium. She works across film, television, theatre, voice acting, and music, building a multidisciplinary career in the performing arts.
A multilingual performer, she is fluent in French, English, and Dutch, enabling her to collaborate on international productions across Europe and beyond.
She holds a Master’s degree in Advertising (2003) from IHECS University College in Brussels, as well as diplomas in Music Theory and Jazz-Pop Piano/Songwriting from Belgian music academies.
Her screen credits include Mind of Thoughts (2025), Le Grand Cirque (2023), Thuis (Home), and the international BBC production Theodosia, along with various film, television, and commercial projects across Europe.
A significant milestone in her stage career was her involvement in Exhibit B by Brett Bailey, where she worked as both performer and Stage Manager. The production toured internationally from 2014 to 2016, with performances in England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Chile, and South Korea.
Beyond acting, she is also a mezzo-soprano singer-songwriter, voice artist, and stage performer, and she plays piano.
She has performed at the iconic L’Olympia in Paris as an opening act for Toots and the Maytals (2018) and the Inna De Yard Collective (2019).
She is an artivist. Through her video capsules Coup de Cœur (YouTube) and her podcast Industry Talks (YouTube & Spotify), she brings the invisible to light and gives form to voices that are rarely or never heard.
