Antjuan Ward

Antjuan Ward, creatively known as "ShoCase," is a cinematic mastermind on the rise. Hailing from the Washington, D.C., area, this self-taught director and writer has made a splash in the film industry with his unique style and vision. With a background in songwriting and production, ShoCase transitioned to film in 2012, creating his first music video for local artist Danielle Lyndsay. Since then, he has honed his skills and developed a true passion for storytelling, teaching himself the art of filmmaking and creating a series of successful projects. In 2015, he wrote, directed, and starred in his own web series, Insomnia, which received over 25,000 views and was accepted into a local film festival. From 2018 through 2020, ShoCase joined forces with Beyond A Dream Productions to create a digital series entitled Differences. Through 2 seasons, this realistic but thought-provoking web series received nine official film festival selections and three Best Web Series Awards and sparked a positive conversation about black men in today's society. The series has since amassed over 600,000 views on Youtube and Tiktok. In his continuous effort to hone his craft and live in his creativity, ShoCase created three captivating short films, My Mistake, A Word, and A Killer Conversation, which have received eight official film festival selections, five finalist selections, and two Best Short Film Awards. In addition to his own projects, ShoCase is also a film festival judge and is dedicated to mentoring the youth in the metropolitan area and using his talents to create positive change. His unwavering dedication to the art of filmmaking and his unique style make him a standout in the industry and a producer's dream.
