  • Danielle is an AACTA (Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts) award winning filmmaker, actor & writer of Greek-Australian ethnicity working across Film/TV and Theatre. (2021). Danielle's short film GORGO that she created, wrote & acted in won the 2025 AACTA Award for Best Australian Short Film. Gorgo also had its North American Premiere at SBIFF24 Santa Barbara International Film Festival in California, Australian national premiere at the Academy/BAFTA qualifying 2024 'Flickerfest Film Festival' as the WINNER for Best Original Music in a Short Film, nominated at St Kilda Film Festival, selected and appeared at Newport Beach Film Festival (California), Rhode Island International Film Festival, and its international Premiere took place in Saint Tropez at the the 2023 Antipodes Film Festival. Danielle also has a Best Performance Nomination for her work in this film at the invite-only 2025 Stellar Film Festival (Australia). A 2013 acting graduate from ACA (Actors Centre Australia) and has a Masters of Screenwriting at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School.

    Danielle's original supernatural cringe comedy online series CURSE OF THE VIRGIN was selected for online development with Screen Australia in 2024. She is also writing a feature film with Co Curious (Here Out West), the 'In The Room' Feature Film Commission with Powerhouse Parramatta (Australia). Also the 'Creative Developer' for recently Screen Australia feature film development funded 'Panos, Pannos & George' by Damien Strouthos. She worked on the 2023 SBS queer revisionist dramedy 'While The Men Are Away,' as script coordinator with Showrunner Kim Wilson, produced by Arcadia. Danielle was a writer for Co Curious' 2022 'On the Bright Side' initiative supported by the NETFLIX Creative Equity Fund, completed a Development placement with Lingo Pictures after selected for Screen Australia's 2019 'Developing the Developer,' selected for Scripted Ink's 2022 Writers' Internship placement with STUDIOCANAL. Other credits include: co-writer for comedy web series Halal Gurls (ABCiview), script coordinator on The Letdown (S1) (Netflix/ABC) and Producer's Attachment (Development) on feature film Here Out West (2022 AACTA award nominated for Best Film).

Danielle also received a 'Best Ensemble Cast' 2016 Sydney Theatre Award nomination, five-star media reviews and several Broadway World Australia nominations for Patricia Cornelius' play SLUT, co-produced with her original theatre company Edgeware Forum.
