Biography

Saptarshi Sarkar is a national award-winning Production Sound Mixer/Supervising Sound Editor based out of Mumbai, India. Winner of the prestigious national film award for Best On-Location Sound Recordist at the 67th National Film Awards for his brilliant and inspiring work on the documentary film Rahas, he has worked on a wide range of projects, including feature films, documentaries, Ad Films, and television programs and has collaborated with many eminent directors and producers over the years and has garnered appreciation and admiration for his strong work ethic, professionalism, and dedication towards his work from his colleagues and clients.

Saptarshi has a Post Graduate Degree in Music and a Post Graduate Degree in Sound Design. He has continued to expand his knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities. He is known for his attention to detail and his ability to work efficiently under pressure, which has helped him to excel in his career.

Outside of work, he likes to practice music as a hobby and is known for his athleticism. He enjoys playing Football, Badminton, and Table Tennis in his free time and maintains a healthy lifestyle to support his demanding job, and maintains a balanced life between his personal and professional pursuits.
