Biography

Francisca Barraza is a Producer with a solid track record of 10 years in the entertainment industry and extensive experience in both the national (Chile) and international film markets. She has a portfolio of high-quality and artistic value contents, including "Pirópolis" (Official Documentary Competition Tribeca 2024), "In The Shadow of Light" (Official First Feature Competition Sheffield Doc Fest 2023), "El Fantasma / No One" (Mostra de São Paulo 2023), and "Surfing For Seniors" (in development).

Her expertise spans content development, team structure and management, as well as the coordination of coproductions and financing for feature films. Throughout her career, she has played a significant role in the production and distribution of over ten feature films and has been involved in creating content for various audiovisual formats, including music videos and advertising.

Francisca has participated as executive producer in films such as "My Tender Matador" (Amazon, Venice Film Festival, Busan), "Dry Martina" (Netflix, Tribeca), and "And The Whole Sky Fit Into The Dead Cow's Eye" (Best Short Film at Sundance, TIFF). She has also served as production manager in the MAFI.tv collective for the documentaries "Propaganda" (Visions du Réel) and "Beaverland" (FICValdivia, Sheffield).
