Biography

Mikhail Novick is a third-generation Polish-American and a first-generation Mexican-American. He is predominantly Polish and Mexican, with a diverse mix of other European, some Asian, and some Native American roots.

With a vast, diverse ancestry, his parents specifically chose the name Mikhail to complement his Slavic last name, Novick.

Even before acting at three, Mikhail showed an early interest in storytelling, performing, and creative arts, often reenacting characters, voices, vocal sound effects, film scenes, TV scenes, and live shows. It was then evident to his parents that acting was his natural form of thought and expression at an early age, and he got represented at four years old.

Beyond acting, Mikhail has shown an interest in editing and filmmaking, hinting at a potential future both in front of and behind the camera. His other hobbies and sports are playing the piano and guitar, drawing, sailing, fencing, running, swimming, mountain biking, and martial arts.

Mikhail Novick was first scouted at eleven months old, but his parents decided to wait until he was older. At four, he began acting in film and television in Los Angeles, California.

Mikhail's younger brother, Laszlo Novick is also an actor. With the support of their parents, they have started their own production company, Novick Bros Productions, Inc., to continue pursuing their dreams, passions, talents, and creativity.

Their maternal grandfather, Javier Caballero, has worked in production in Mexico City, MX, D.F., for over 35+ years. With an extended knowledge and experience in broadcast and cinematic camera operation, sound design, and editing. He is also a jazz pianist.

Their mom, Angelica (Caballero) Novick, has also built a passion and experience in becoming a female dolly/rail camera operator for 10+ years, taking after her father, Javier.
