Since 2014 Christian is as director, DOP and editor member of the Blackbox-Collective. Their first major production A German Life was added to the official documentary selection of the European Film Awards 2016 and received numerous prestigious festival nominations. The second documentary Welcome to Sodom premiered at CPH:Dox and was nominated for Camerimage's Documentary Features Competition.
