Dandrell Scott is a rapper, comedian, animator, and actor, best known for his role as Mitchell Adams on NBC's "Chicago P.D." Scott also had guest starring roles on FX's "Snowfall," Showtime's "The Chi" and OWN's "All Rise." In 2017, Scott won "Outstanding Up and Comer Actor" from the Hollywood International Golden Film Awards. In 2020, he became the official announcer for Wendy's, and the host of their podcast, "Sir, This is a Wendy's Podcast." His entertainment and comedy career started at Illinois State University, where he practiced his stand-up routines at open mics and college functions. After college, Scott embarked on voiceover and acting. His VO work includes Nintendo, Walmart, McDonald's, Miller Lite, Toyota, Walgreens, Orkin, Coors Light, Ford Motor Company, Dunkin', Bayer's Alka Seltzer, Cox Cable, Enjoy Illinois, Nicor Gas, Comcast, PBS, Allstate, Illinois Lottery, Old National Bank, and QuikTrip. Dandrell was awarded "Male Voiceover Artist of the Year" by the One Voice Awards in 2024.

His animated shorts, "Dance Dog Fever" and "Happily Haunted After," were shown on the nationally televised show, "African American Short Films" in 2016.
Has been nominated eight times for his animation, including "Made It to the Smalltime" for the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (2015), "Hard Knock Robots" for the New York State International Film Festival and Chicago International REEL Shorts Festival (2016), "Christmas Guard Dog" for the Southern Arizona Independent Film Festival (2018), "Big Operations" for the Port Orchard Film Festival (2018), "Laser Beam: The Dance Machine" for the Webisode Film Festival (2019), "Bizarre Man: The Jingle Bell Battle" for the Golden State Film Festival (2019) and the Universal Film Festival (2020).
Won "Best Web Series" for the 2015 Urban Mediamakers Film Festival.
His first live-action directorial debut, "PARKED," was selected by the "Reel Black Men Film Festival 2017." The festival was held by the Black Hollywood Education and Resource Center in Los Angeles.
Scott's first national television appearance was on the show, "African American Short Films" in 2019.
