Biography

Keith Nicol is known for Cyndi Lauper: Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1983), The Cucaracha Club (2016) and Trained to Kill (2018). He has been married to Eva Tejedor since July 20, 1998. They have one child.

Keith attended Seneca Collge and York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, qualifying as an Assistant Cameraman for IATSE before stepping from behind to in front of the camera.

Keith competed in Autocross and Rallying before moving to Canada to attend college. He took his driving test in Canada the week after he arrived, in the snow, in a VW Bug, with a standard shift, when it would be normal to take it in an automatic. The examiner was so fat that Keith had problems changing gear due to the examiner's leg being in the way and it being a small car. He passed about seven minutes later and on his way out of the car park decided to throw the Bug into a series of donuts and 180 degree turns, much to the dismay of the local examiners.

He won a number of slot car racing championships in Toronto, including one at the CNE in 1978.
