Biography

Bobby Shue was born November 18, 1983 in Dallas, TX to Shelia Humphery and Gary Shue. Bobby signed with his first agent at the age of 12 and within months of signing landed his first gig for MTV's "Austin Stories''. He originally auditioned for episode 4 but was considered too young for the part. However, he left a lasting impression with casting director Amy Grappell, known for "Boy's Don't Cry". Subsequently, she contacted his agent to cast him for episode 5.

Through the beginning years of Bobby's career, he was approached by Marta Michella at Wilhemina Models while working on the television series "All My Children" in New York City. After signing with the modeling agency, he moved to Tokyo to work under a contract for Dior Homme.

Bobby attended Columbia University and received a degree in Film and upon graduating he interned for SNL Studios. During this time, Bobby collaborated with photographer Jo Lance, known for "Mexico's Next Top Model," on various photo shoots. Jo later referred Bobby to a local casting director who cast him as one of the first faces for the launch of LOGO Network featured in several advertising commercials for the new station on Showtime Network.

Bobby moved back to Dallas at the age of 24 and signed with acting agency Kim Dawson. He also reconnected with talent director Liz Garrett and established an actors studio teaching and developing actors. Bobby published his first book in 2009 entitled "Got Therapy?" which helped initiate his career in stand-up comedy. In 2014, Bobby wrote and directed his first feature film "Clayton & Claudia."
