Biography

  • Bo Day is an Asian/Australian actress. She is a graduate at the world-renowned Stella Adler Academy of Acting (Alumni includes: Marlon Brando, Benicio Del Toro, Mark Ruffalo, Salma Hyack, and Robert De Niro). Due to her traumatic backstory pre adoption, Bo has developed an unshakable vigor, positivity, optimism, humility, and resilience. Her past has also armed her with the gift of empathy and emotional availability which allows her to quickly and truthfully tap into the emotional depth in her work. Needless to say, her strength is in the dramatics. She has the perfect balance of strength and vulnerability which gives her versatility to her type. Due to her strong sense of justice, compassionate, nurturing, and humanitarian nature with the need to protect the innocent and the helpless, Bo is typically cast as the leading heroine type: kick-ass woman, romantic interest, young wife and mother. In addition to playing the protagonist, Bo also enjoys and thrives on playing the antagonist roles. She believes it is healthy to explore our shadow self. Her ethnically diverse exotic look allows her to portray a large variety of different ethnic groups from Eurasian, North and Southeast Asian, Blasian, Latino, Native Indian, and Polynesian/Hawaiian. Bo found herself right at home at the world-renowned Stella Adler Academy of Acting & Theater where she was awarded a full scholarship in the final year through her hard work and relentless commitment to the craft. During her time at Stella Adler Bo performed on stage a broad range of leading roles from the vulnerable to the powerful such as Blanche in 'Brighton Beach Memoirs' by Neil Simon, the female 'Othello' in Shakespeare, Juror 8 in Reginald Rose play 'Twelve Angry Men' in which the television adaptation was performed by Henry Fonda, Charlotte in 'For the Use of the Hall' by Oliver Hailey, Lavinia in 'Mourning becomes Electra' by Eugene O'Neill and Becca in 'Rabbit Hole' by David Lindsay-Abaire. The 'imagination' technique for which Stella Adler is world-famous for has equipped Bo with the ability to perform truthfully and honestly to green screen and any situation that demands the use of imagination. The combination of profound life experience and extensive formal training in various techniques: Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, and Stanford Meisner has equipped Bo with all the necessary skills for future roles to come.
