Biography

Dorrett White was born in Scarborough, Ontario. As a child she showed exceptional promise as a young performer; performing fun little skits and ideas for her classmates, teachers, and family whenever she could. Dorrett is not only known for her incredible stage presence and commitment to storytelling, but also her passion and love for the arts. She continues to pursue the craft of acting with her whole heart and also works with youth in her community, introducing theatre and acting to young performers. Dorrett has come in first place for The Toronto Monologue Slam (2020) and graduated from the competitive CBC Actors Conservatory (2023-2024). She is the eldest daughter in a loving Jamaican-Canadian family.
