Kristian was born in Bronx NY. She was born to Jimmy Comer and Margaret Ross. Kristian is the youngest of three and grew up in Rockland, NY. She was educated at Rockland Community College, Empire State College and Ramapo College of New Jersey. Kristian earned two AA degrees from RCC, one in Performing Arts and the other in Liberal arts and Science. She went on and received one B.S. degrees from Suny Empire State College. Kristian is an master's candidate at The Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon and the University of Birmingham. She has won/nominated for over 50 + awards for her work on short films. Kristian is a dual citizen from the US and UK. She is the founder and creative director of IceThistle Productions.

The bravest thing I ever did was to follow my heart and my dreams. It was scary at first but once I took the leap and committed to them, it took me to the most extraordinary places and I met the most intriguing people.
When you see an injustice you have two options: walk away and cower in fear or be brave and do something to change it. I chose to be brave and change it and stand by my friend. Human-kind popped into my mind when writing the film. I wish to be both human and kind and hope that message resonates with my audience and that they are moved by the injustice of my friend's story.
I believe that movies can show and give people perspectives that they would normally never have or think about. A movie is an expression of the artist's soul in a very intimate and passionate exchange with us. It is very beautiful and profound. If done right it can shake someone at their core and inspire them to greatness.
I never wrote before and this feeling awoke in me. I wanted to express myself, but in a different way than I used to as an actress. It was like the world that I would create for myself as a performer in my head became more vivid and for the first time, I felt like I could share it in written form.
I grew up watching movies and tv shows with the people that I love because of that I always knew in my heart that I wanted to create something just as inspiring as what I grew up with in the hopes that they would experience beautiful memories to carry in their hearts as I do.
