Sean Wells was born and raised in Amsterdam, New York. He began his acting career in 2015, at the age of 18. He made his feature film debut in 2022. In 2018, Sean Wells was cast in the lead role of the mini-series "WORDS" (2019 - ). Sean Wells still resides in Upstate New York.
