Inducted into The Airborne Ranger Training Brigade Hall Of Fame (2022). His mother, Mary, is from Liverpool England. His Grandfather is from Sierra Leone and served in the British Navy. Tony studied acting in high school in Detroit and then later in Palo Alto Ca. After ending time served in the US Army, high on the E7/SFC list, he moved to Atlanta Ga and returned to studying acting with The Company Acting Studio and Drama Inc while attending GSU, earning a BA in Religious Studies, and operating his own ballroom dance studio for 20 years, becoming an award winning ballroom dancer and trainer. He still teaches ballroom dancing to senior citizens in Atlanta and Middle school students.

- Tony J. Scott served as a US Army Ranger with the 1/75 and 3/75 Ranger Battalions and took part in the rescue mission "Urgent Fury", Grenada in Oct 1983. He graduated airborne school and graduated Ranger School class 10-83. As a Staff Sergeant high on the E-7 list Tony finished his enlistment serving as an instructor for the US Department of the Army Ranger School.
- Tony J. practiced stage magic and was known for his dove act. He won top teacher in 2005 at the Hotlanta Dancesport Challenge and continues to teach ballroom dancing to Senior Citizens part time.
