Biography

Amber's parents met on a bus in Honolulu, Hawaii, and knew each other for 10 days before getting married. Amber was born 9 months later. Growing up in Hawaii, Texas, and the San Francisco Bay Area, Amber was always moving with her parents. Her family split up, got back together, went to war, and experienced a myriad of colorful, paranormal, adventurous, and traumatic experiences. Within that whirlwind was always the constant encouragement to delve into creativity and entertainment. The plan was always to move to LA and delve into acting and comedy professionally. At 18, Amber got accepted to a performing arts college and was ready to pursue musical theatre. However, circumstances would not permit her to attend. With the door to musical theatre closing, the door to comedy opened. At age 20, she became a professional improviser with ComedySportz. She took that newfound direction over to Los Angeles, training and working alongside comedy legends. Amber has worked in comedy since 2009, with a brief hiatus to become a healer, mystic, and astrologer. Since returning to comedy and film, she has doubled down on writing and producing.
