Matthew Padraic

Matthew Padraic is an American cinematographer from Phoenix, Arizona. From a young age, he seemed to gravitate towards camera work. In his neighborhood of Arcadia, he was known as the kid with the camcorder who was always shooting. In high school this obsession was augmented by the Media Communications department at Arcadia High School, one of the first high school programs of it's kind. Under the instruction of Dave Cornelius, he began to learn camera operating and eventually began working professionally as a camera operator before his eighteenth birthday. Soon thereafter he began practicing the art of cinematography, shooting twelve short films on 16mm and a dozen more on various digital systems. Presently he works in Los Angeles, New Mexico, Vancouver, and other states where he can practice his craft. He still resides in Arcadia.
