- Shirine Babb is an accomplished, award winning artist known for her dynamic performances across theatre and television. With more than 20 years of acting experience, Shirine has established herself as a versatile and compelling presence on stage and screen. She has a BFA in musical theatre, a MA from East 15 Acting Conservatory in London and MFA from USD/The Old Globe in classical theater. Shirine also supports aspiring artists through her work as an educator and private coach. As a celebrated stage actress, Babb has graced renowned theaters internationally and across the U.S. Her work can be seen in Broadway productions such as, The Piano Lesson, A Beautiful Noise, Harry Potter: The Cursed Child and Lincoln Center's production of Macbeth with Ethan Hawk. Her Regional work and Off-Broadway work include Merchant of Venice (TFANA; Royal Lyceum), King Lear (Shakespeare Theatre Co.), and in the title role of Antony and Cleopatra (Folger Theatre). Solidifying her reputation as a powerhouse in classical theatre, she has worked opposite revered classical actors such as Sir Derek Jacobi, Patrick Page, and John Douglas Thompson. As her on screen appearance continues to grow you can see her in popular shows such as Iron Fist, Blue Bloods, and Extrapolations. Shirine's accolades include the Helen Hayes Award, Critics Circle Award nomination, Theater Circle Award nomination, the AUDELCO Award nomination, the Darlene Shiley Fellowship for Performance and the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship for excellence in American Theatre.
