Biography

Auri Lahne' Brown was born in Conyers, Georgia, to Lonnie and Jeanne Stokes- Brown. She began acting in school very young and many teachers and parents noticed her talent. She was often called on to host and perform in school plays and musical performances. One summer she attended a showcase in Orlando, Florida and was discovered by an LA agent. She became an Overall Finalist.

Subsequently, with constant pleading to her parents to take her to LA, she finally got her wish and moved there with her mother.

Auri knew acting was her calling and that's what she wanted to do. She would often memorize the Disney shows she watched and perform a scene flawlessly with so much passion.

Her mom realized it was time to use this talent and enrolled her in plays, improvisation classes, and kid talent showcases in their local town. She went on to win first place in the Kids Comedy Korner Competition and first Place in Monologue City -Best Kid Monologue. In addition to her acting talent Auri is also a model student who loves to impress her teachers. She won the highly prestigious Kerr Cup for Best Student (Conyers) and was always asked to participate in the Oratorical Contests for the school.

When it comes to auditioning Auri developed a coping mechanism when she doesn't get the role. She says, "On to the next!" then listen to her favorite playlist. She has appeared in several short films and theater productions in LA. Auri is of African, Pacific Islander, and American Indian descent.
