Biography

Elisa Cota-Francis is an award winning filmmaker and the the owner and CEO of ArcLight Pictures. She began her career in the film industry while attending the University of Arizona, from which she graduated with a degree in Film & Television Production. Her early love of sound work quickly led her to specialize in audio production, but she was hungry for more. Knowing that focusing on only one discipline would never satisfy her, Elisa indulged her desire to become an expert in all aspects of film and television production and used her time at the University appropriately. She was blessed to study under various Emmy winners at Arizona Public Media who recognized her potential and taught her how to shoot, edit, light, produce, write and craft a story that would engage audiences of all genres. Twenty years later, Elisa still gets a thrill of excitement at the chance to use her knowledge, talents and passion to help her clients succeed!
