Biography

Rose Sanchez is an Actress, Writer and Director, in that order. She was born in Puerto Rico, and worked in a few Puertorrican sets and a TV show before moving to the United States to further her career on 2015. Since then Rose took her time to adapt to the change and get familiar with the entertainment industry in the states. In 2017 Rose took some acting training to help break the ice with the difference in culture and language. After completing 2 different acting class environments in person, Rose was ready to continue her journey and picked up from where she left off in 2018 with "Joker and Harley" a fan made homage to Heath Ledger, in which Rose co-wrote with Actor, Antonio J. Medina, who has also been an amazing friend in film, given their similar background. Rose continued to grow her presence in the industry until Covid-19 outbreak and sudden lock down. She founded Flocally in 2020, a filmmakers platform meant to serve the Local people of Florida. But later evolved to PressPlay Cinema, due to overwhelming support from out of the state. PressPlay Cinema was founded in 2022 and officially registered in March 2023, in Michigan USA. Rose now tells stories through her lens by whatever means necessary, manages PressPlay Cinema at pressplayhere, and conducts weekly interviews with creatives in English and Spanish through all platforms.
