Janellyn Woo(I)

Janellyn Woo aka "J Woo" is an EMMY nominated SAG-e multi-lingual Asian American actress, dancer, host, model and singer. She was born in Royal Oak, MI into a Chinese (father) and Filipino (mother) family. She loves performing on camera, radio as well as any stage and was the Lead Dancer in her Ballet/Hip Hop/Jazz dance recital. Janellyn began acting, dancing and singing in 2010 with her local community (musical) theatre while she was still in Kindergarten. She has performed in 20+ LIVE musical theatre productions over the past 8+ years now. You can see her in Seasons 1-5 of the EMMY & NETA Award-winning National PBS Kids science show, Curious Crew, airing Monday nights at 5:30pm on WKAR-TV locally in the Lansing, MI area and on PBS as well as PBS Kids channels nationally. In March 2015 she can be seen Sunday nights at 10pm on WADL, playing a Lead role as Robby Johnson in a New TV sitcom called, My Step Kid'z.

Janellyn is on the Straight A+ Honor Roll in the 8th Grade, but is reading/writing at a high school Senior level already. She also enjoys art, biking, drawing, fashion design, fight training, journaling, karaoke, piano, reading, spending time with her BFFs and swimming in her spare time.

Janellyn has completed 21+ radio/TV/web commercials within the past 4+ years of pursuing her professional acting career since April 2014.
