- Inspired by slasher films of the 80's, Richard became interested in horror films and special make-up effects at a young age. To feed his obsession with the genre, he quickly began attending horror conventions and meeting actors, directors, and FX artists. It wasn't long after when he started volunteering at local haunted houses as an actor where he also applied his own make-up each night. He recently graduated from FX school.
