- Alessandro Nannini was born on July 7, 1959 in Siena, Italy.
- Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Minardi (1986 (14 GPs)-1987 (16 GPs)) and Benetton (1988 (16 GPs)-1989 (16 GPs)-1990 (14 GPs)). He started 76 Grands Prix and 65 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 6th in 1989.
- In 1990, Alessandro Nannini was involved in a helicopter crash while flying over his Siena vineyard, just a week after the Spanish Grand Prix. His right hand was nearly severed, but thanks to amazing microsurgery the limb was reattached. The accident resulted in limited mobility of his right hand and ended his Formula One career.
- Teammates in Formula One were: Andrea de Cesaris, Adrián Campos, Thierry Boutsen, Johnny Herbert, Emanuele Pirro and Nelson Piquet.
- Champion: Formula Fiat Abarth (1981).
