Sanam Jung is a popular actress and television presenter. She was born in Pakistan and currently lives in the United States of America. She holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree from the College of Business Management.
Sanam is known for playing various lead roles in some of the most popular television shows in Pakistan. She started her career as a video jockey on Play TV in 2008 before moving to AAG TV in 2010.
The versatile individual made her acting debut with Hum TV's Dil e Muztar in a lead role alongside Imran Abbas Naqvi, Sarwat Gilani, Aijaz Aslam, and Saba Hameed. A few years down the line, Jung appeared in Mohabbat Subh Ka Sitara Hai.
Later, she led the cast in Mere Humdum Mere Dost with Adnan Siddiqui and Hareem Farooq. In 2015, she starred in Alvida by playing the lead role as Haya.
The multi-talented artist hosted Jago Pakistan Jago, Hum TV's Prime Time breakfast show from 2014-2018. In the year 2019, she appeared in Mein Na Janoo. Sanam played a negative role in Qarar in 2020 as Maya. It was her first appearance as a negative character.
Besides this, she has also featured in several other popular telefilms and dramas in lead roles, which include Ghar Aaye Mehmaan, Dulha Mein Le ke Jaungi, Hona tha Pyaar, Dhoka, Pyari Mona, among others.
Sanam has hosted 6 Hum Awards from 2014 to 2021 and Hum Women Leadership Awards in 2023. Additionally, she has hosted Ramzan Transmission in 2022 for News Express and 2023 for Tv One. Over the years, she has also interviewed international bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, John Abraham, Varun Dhawan to name a few.
