Teresa Jolie, born Teresa Jolie DE la Garza, is a Latina female director. She was born in the Mexican-American border town of Brownsville, TX. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from St. Edward's University and began her career as a photographer and graphic artist. Having an eye for composition, a natural ability to story-tell through images and a love for movies, she transitioned into film beginning with directing music videos

She is working on multiple film projects; directing, writing and producing.

Teresa Jolie, a Mexican-American filmmaker, also known as Teresa Jolie de la Garza, was born and raised in Brownsville, TX. In her early 20's she attended and graduated from St. Edward's University in Austin, TX. Growing up influenced by music and film, she pursued a degree in Graphic Design that would allow her to dabble in both mediums. While attending college in Austin she began her career in photography and directing music videos for local artists. What began as a passion project in college has developed into a career working with a variety of artists & companies.

Teresa subsequently has worked with Blue October, Peavy, Buda Amps, Sony Pictures, Beats by Dre, 50 Cent, Lloyd Maines, David Grissom, Elizabeth Avellan, and Robert Rodriquez among many Grammy award winning musicians and notable film companies. Her work has been featured in multiple film festivals, Guitar Magazine, Billboard Magazine, Nylon, to name a few.

She currently is residing in Austin, traveling globally for film and musical productions to this day.
