Biography

Heather is a screenwriter and playwright in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In 2025, her screenplay She He & Him won the 2025 Comox Valley Film Festival Screenwriting Competition, and her most recent stage play, BubblePop! Inc, was a finalist for the international Risk Modern Tragedy play writing competition. Nowhere Normal, a short film she wrote and produced, won Best Live Action Short (Alberta) at the 2023 Edmonton International Film Festival. She directed the short Better to be Single, now on the festival circuit.
