Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is Indian spiritual leader, known as Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan to his followers. He is known for his rock star social life style. Born into a rich family of agriculturists, Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Ji Insan hails from SriGurusarmodia, a small village in North Rajasthan. His father, Bapu Maghar Singh Ji Insan, and mother, Mata Nasib Kaur Ji, and several villagers reveal that Guruji's birth was prophesised by a village ascetic, Triveni Das, who talked of the coming of a divine light.

Saint Insan is married and has four children, three daughters and a son, but he had to renounce family life at the young age of 23 as he was anointed the third Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda by his Guruji, Saint Shah SatnamJi Maharaj. Saint Insan is a True Spiritual Master who has taught free meditation to over 50 million people worldwide. Some of the world's top doctors and scientists have acknowledged the healing effects of his meditation technique and reported life transforming experiences.

Saint Insan has been campaigning extensively against drugs, alcohol, fanaticism, misuse of shrines to make money, female foeticide, and rampant caste-ism among a host of other issues. Saint Insan has pioneered a total of 104 humanitarian campaigns, some of which have been picked up by the Indian government for wider dissemination. The cleanliness drives, amalgamation of prostitutes into society through marriage, blood donation and tree plantation world records, large scale disaster relief are some noteworthy examples. The total number of international records he has established for social and humanitarian causes is over 30. While his work has been recognized overseas, his trenchant opposition of drugs and corruption in India has led to a significant backlash from political vested interests and the drug mafia. He has faced several terror attacks, which he has handled with his characteristically calm demeanor.

Beyond spirituality and social work, Guruji's versatility extends to music, engineering, agriculture, science, bio-medical research, architecture, design and the list is endless. Guruji explains that everyone has the potential to unlock the unique gifts inside through the meditation since it actually increases the percentage of the brain cells that we use. Secondly, self confidence can only be enhanced through true meditation, he says.

Guruji's foray into music started a couple of years ago which crossed a whopping 100 plus live concerts. His concerts are attended by an average audience of 2,50,000 fans, which is limited only by the size of the venue while his spiritual congregations attract millions. His first film, MSG - The Messenger of God, was shot in only 67 days wherein Guruji has contributed massively to every aspect of film making, ranging from direction, sets, music direction, play back singing , dress designing etc, to name a few. Whilst the movie is slated for release in mid-January, Guruji is already midway into shooting the sequel tentatively titled MSG-2.
