Josh Fried is a seasoned SAG-AFTRA stunt professional with extensive experience as a stunt performer, stunt coordinator, and fight coordinator. His work spans major feature films, television series, commercials, and music videos.
Josh's career in physical performance began in Las Vegas, where he spent four years performing 10 shows a week in Le Rêve-an acrobatic water spectacular at the Wynn Hotel created and directed by Franco Dragone (Cirque du Soleil). This immersive production provided a strong foundation in high-level live performance.
He holds a degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from The College of William & Mary, where he was also a nationally ranked NCAA Division I Gymnast. Josh's lifetime dedication to movement extends into the world of martial arts. Beginning with Kenpo-a hybrid discipline rooted in Chinese Kung Fu and Japanese Karate-he has gone on to study a wide array of arts including Boxing, Wing Chun, Tae Kwon Do, and Jeet Kune Do.
Josh's unique blend of gymnastics, martial arts, and circus lends both power and versatility to his work in the stunt world. As a fight coordinator, he is known for designing action that is both visually compelling and grounded in realism. His understanding of performance, movement, filmmaking and storytelling continues to deepen with each project, making him a valuable creative force on set.
